Welcome to Jessica's Piano Studio

Jessica’s Piano Studio offers private, weekly lessons to children and adults. Located in Edwardsville, Illinois, I am able to serve many communities in the Metro-East including Edwardsville, Hamel, Troy, Glen Carbon, Maryville, and Collinsville. I use a well-rounded curriculum that includes music theory, sight-reading, technique, artistry and musicianship, ear-training, composition, improvisation, and music analysis.

Lessons are tailored to each student allowing them to progress at a pace appropriate for maximum individual success. I believe strongly in discovery learning. Students are challenged at each lesson to think and be creative when finding where they’ve made a mistake, deciding how to make a piece of music more interesting for the listener, and to add their own flare to music. I believe that all music tells a story and encourage students to find ways of sharing their story through the music they play. Studying the piano will establish an understanding and appreciation for music in your student. It also builds important skills and character traits in children of all ages such as creativity, concentration, diligence, perseverance, and patience.
